WISHMAKER’S BALL COMMITTEE
Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida is an organization built upon its volunteers.
The Wishmaker’s Ball is our chapter’s largest fundraiser and we would not be able to build upon its success without our committee of volunteers dedicated to ensuring not only the success of the gala, but that your time spent with us is a memorable one!
2022 Wishmaker’s Ball Chairperson
Jay Chaudhari, RVR Consulting
We are thrilled to announce Jay Chaudhari as our 2022 Wishmaker’s Ball Chairperson! Five years ago, Jay, along with the dedicated members of the 2017 Wishmaker’s Ball committee, made Wishmaker’s Ball history by raising over $1,000,000 which helped us grant 131 wishes! And at the 2019 Wishmaker’s Ball, Jay and the committee raised over $1,450,000 to grant 180 wishes! In 2020, Jay, alongside co-chairperson Jessica Kendrick, fearlessly lead the committee through the difficult cancellation of the Wishmaker’s Ball due to COVID-19. In 2021, Jay helped the committee pull off the first ever hybrid event that engaged participants both in the ballroom and virtually. This year Jay returns with his sights set on granting wishes and is dedicated to making this year’s Wishmaker’s Ball the best one yet!
Jay has a very special connection to Make-A Wish. When Jay was 12 he was successfully treated for Non-Hodgkin lymphoma at Arnold Palmer Hospital. During his treatment Make-A-Wish brought NBA players from the All-Star Game to the hospital to visit with the children. Jay remembers that moment to this day and understands the impact a wish can have on a child.
Jay is a lifelong Floridian and was born and raised in the Orlando area. He received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Florida and then went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Jay has spent the last 15 years as an entrepreneur in real estate development and as a Co-Founder/Advisor to companies. Jay also serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Foundation, Give Hope Foundation, and Mission United/United Way.
Outside of the office, Jay loves to spend time with his wife Lauren and daughter Kendall. They enjoy meeting up with neighbors and friends to enjoy everything Central Florida has to offer. Jay also enjoys playing golf and watching football with friends.
Jay has helped bring together a fabulous group of individuals to serve on the 2022 committee who are fully committed to creating a spectacular ball and raising funds to grant wishes!
