4th Annual Holin-Days Concert!

At Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida®, we love celebrating the spirit of giving during the holidays. But giving back to the community is just as important throughout the year. That’s why we find it especially heartwarming when previous wish recipients lend their voices to our mission of granting wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Take Holin Saucer, for example. At birth, she was diagnosed with 5 heart defects and has a rare form of epilepsy that has sent her to the hospital countless times. After nearly 5 years of battling her illness, Holin was granted her wish to sing with country music sensation Kelsea Ballerini!

A Strong Heart

From Day One, Holin proved herself to be a fighter. Her heart conditions required a total of four open heart surgeries. During one procedure, Holin had a stroke, which triggered a rare form of epilepsy.

Although she has a pacemaker and relies on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) to oxygenate her blood, Holin doesn’t let her struggles stop her. In fact, she’s more devoted than ever to pursuing her passion of helping others.

In addition to booking several speaking engagements throughout the year, Holin hosts a variety of fundraising events to support the causes she cares about, including Make-A-Wish!

Raise Your Voice!

Now 11 years old, Holin still loves to sing. But she isn’t solely focused on her own musical career. Instead, this future star lends her talents to helping out her favorite causes. Since 2019, the Saucers have hosted an annual holiday concert to raise money for children with critical illnesses.

The 4th Annual Happy Holin-Days concert will be held on December 19, 2023 at 6pm CT at Encounter Church in Pensacola, Florida. However, fans of Holin all over the world will be able to “attend” the concert virtually.

The concert will be live-streamed on Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida’s Facebook page, as well as Holin’s own Facebook page, Saving Holin’s Heart.

The concert is free, but donations to Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida will be encouraged, to help further our mission of granting a wish to every eligible child.

Tune in on December 19 at 6pm (CT) or 7pm (ET) to hear this incredible young lady and support Make-A-Wish!
