The health and safety of all Make-A-Wish constituents, including our wish kids and families, community supporters, volunteers and employees, is our top priority. We are thrilled to announce that the 26th Annual Hamlin and Associates Wishmaker’s Ball will now be held on August 22nd, 2020 at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria.
We will continue to monitor guidance from national and international public health and government organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. State Department, and are working closely with the national Make-A-Wish Medical Advisory Council, keeping the best interest of the children and families we serve at the center of all policy decisions we make.
We estimate more than 30 wishes per month could be delayed by COVID-19 related postponements. More than ever, we are committed to delivering hope and joy to children with critical illnesses.
Especially during this time, we are sincerely grateful for our community of supporters. We appreciate your ongoing support, which remains critical as there are more wish kids waiting for wishes than ever before.
